Artist Profile

My ceramics have been inspired by the colours, shapes and textures of the natural world. Much of my work has been influenced by the amazing sea life that I have been fortunate enough to see.

I aim for my ceramics to be organically touchable, and often try to incorporate different textures within one piece.

I both hand build and throw on the wheel. I am primarily self-taught and am still learning every day. I passionately enjoy the challenges that clay presents.

I am on the Autistic Spectrum and find working with clay to be completely immersive, the tactile nature of clay and the endless creative potential releases me from day to day stresses and fears.

Studio 56 is my home studio, begun in January 2019.
